Hello Julia
It's been 2 years since I last wrote. In that time I have traveled all over the world with the Marco Polo cruise ship. Now we are back in Antarctica. Whenever I am in the United States which in only a few weeks of the year, I buy all the romance novels I can find!! I can't wait to read your new one. The excerpt is fantastic!! A woman with a foil...I love it.
I really enjoyed the interview too.
Thanks for you inspiration. Wish I could find a romance writer group to share with on the internet since I am rarely in the US.

Julia, i just read your book "My lady's pleasure", i really liked it. I read a lot, i would say a book per week, when i started reading this book i though "how can she bed someone who was about have sex with her maid??" and "no, this cant possible be the man of the story" you really tricked me!! He ended up being a very honest man with a very negative surrounding. Great story, i couldnt stop reading. Very different from other love stories. I'll be looking foward to reading more of your books.
Thank You

i just want you to know that i very much enjoy your books. Of all the historical books I've read and there are a lot, your's are the best. This story I hope will tell you how much. A few years ago I met you at a book sighing in Longview and afterreading the book I thought it was gteat and wrote you telling you so. Not long after my husband and I sold our home and started traveling a good bit. Ifound another book of yours in Kentucky. About halfway through it, we were called home for a family emergency and I had to stop the story for a while. While we were here my husband went into a mental depression we could not bring him out of and he committed suicide. For abouta year I wouldn't leave the house unless it was very important. I stopped returning calls and stared at the tv constantly. A few months ago, in the middle of the night,Icame across your book and finished that night. After that I couldn't put a book down. I finally started coming out of my cocoon and I've done very well since then. I got a job in Longview I love. Last week I went in search for more of your books and to my delight I found three. You write so well I hope you continue. I know that's an odd story to tell but just see that your writing can change someones life. I'll always be your biggest fan and await more great stories. Joann

I work as a Port & Cruise Consultant onboard the cruise ship, MV Marco Polo. Reading has always been a passion for me, but I had never read any romance novels. While cruising through Europe on the ship, I went through a stack of paperbacks that passengers had left and discovered, "A Scandalous Proposal". I LOVED IT. When we finally reach a port, Southampton, that English-printed books, I spent an hour looking for more of your books but couldn't find any!!!!!
As my ship is constantly on the move, we are now crossing the Atlantic on our way through the Panama Canal, down west South America, to the Antarctic then up to Buenos Aires, Rio, and the Amazon, it will be 3 months till I reach another bookstore that has any English books at all.
Is there any way I could have these books delivered to one of our port agents?
I couldn't put the book down! I loved it. Your structure and store line was inpeccable. The historic information, the character development and the emotions were so honest.
Ironically when I was in 20's in college in Connecticut, I use to pose for a New York photographer wearing capes and costumes. Those photos were turned into covers for romance novels!!!!
My email is lite_linda@hotmail.com. Could you help me get more of your books? My life has been a romance novel, perhaps I should take so turned into covers for romance novels!!!!
My email is lite_linda@hotmail.com. Could you help me get more of your books? My life has been a romance novel, perhaps I should take some of the chapters of my own life and write (but change the names to protect the innocent!!!!!)
Thanks so much, Julia, for adding a new dimension to my love of books AND romance.

I enjoyed reading "My lady's trust" and "My lady's pleasure" (recommended on the AAR website) and look forward to getting the rest of your books. I have to say that AAR is excellent for bringing me to new authors (although not so good for my bank balance!) Living in the UK I don't see most of the books I read in the shops, I find out about them on US sites and then order them from Amazon. (And then once I find the sites of authors I like I'm doomed! All those excerpts tempting me to read!)
Thank you for writing enjoyable books that really pull you into the story (I've only read two, but as soon as I can, that will change) :o)
Happy Holidays.
